Three-Dimensional Modeling of Transport Properties in Hardened Cement Paste Using Metal Centrifugation-Based Pore Network

چکیده

Accurate prediction of transport properties for cementitious materials remains a challenge since it is difficult to experimentally obtain the realistic three-dimensional (3D) pore network cement paste. In this study, 3D paste quantitatively characterized using nano X-ray microtomography coupled with metal centrifugation porosimetry (MCP). First, MCP technique carried out impel liquid into Subsequently, intruded reconstructed high-resolution microtomography. Finally, based on images, including ionic diffusivity and fluid permeability are simulated set lattice Boltzmann models. The results show that alloy can significantly enhance contrast between solid phase, be successfully reproduced. For pastes water-to-cement (w/c) ratios 0.5 0.6, dramatically increased improving w/c ratio. A similarly dramatic growth evolution also occurs when effective porosity raises from 27.56% 36.11%.

Thermophysical and Mechanical Properties of Hardened Cement Paste with Microencapsulated Phase Change Materials for Energy Storage

In this research, structural-functional integrated cement-based materials were prepared by employing cement paste and a microencapsulated phase change material (MPCM) manufactured using urea-formaldehyde resin as the shell and paraffin as the core material. The encapsulation ratio of the MPCM could reach up to 91.21 wt%. Thermal energy storage cement pastes (TESCPs) incorporated with different ...

Three-dimensional modeling of transport phenomena in a planar anode-supported solid oxide fuel cell

In this article three dimensional modeling of a planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) was investigated. The main objective was to attain the optimized cell operation. SOFC operation simulation involves a large number of parameters,   complicated equations, (mostly partial differential equations), and a sophisticated simulation technique; hence, a finite element method (FEM) multiphysics approach ...
